1st First Annual Latino Arts Festival of Apex
The Latino Arts Festival of Apex aims to highlight the presence of Latino arts and culture in the local community and provide an opportunity to build bridges across cultures.
The events planned are intended for families and people of all ages.
• Latino Culinary Fest. Friday, May 7, from 6 to 8 p.m. $2/person. Foods from Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Central America, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and more.
• Dance, Arts, and Crafts. Saturday, May 8, from 12 to 4 p.m. FREE! Folk Dance Groups, Piñatas, Kitemaking, Jewelry Making with Beads, Mural Painting, and more.
• Latin Music Concert. Saturday, May 8, from 7 to 9 p.m. $10/person. Mariachi Amanecer Tapatío followed by Latin Jazz with Víctor Látimer and Friends (concert includes food and non-alchoholic beverages).
