Latest Version of Google Chrome Launches with Flash-Based Game

The latest version of Google Chrome is now available and comes standard with Adobe Flash.  To make people aware of this new feature, Google launched a Flash-based YouTube game called FastBall.

The goal of the game is to get a ball through an obstacle course in the fastest amount of time, but instead of the typical “manipulate the ball through the course” routine, players must answer a series of questions to advance the ball. Questions are all web-based and include challenges that use Google, Twitter and, of course, YouTube. Some examples of questions are “Choose the fastest method of transportation between points A and B using Google Maps” and “Search for three things that have decreasing results.”

This game was created to show users Google Chrome’s Flash capabilities and demonstrate the speed of the browser. On my first attempt at this new game, it took me more than four minutes to complete the course, a score that put me just below the average player. Although I didn’t do very well, try it out for yourself.
