Agency Talent Arrives at the Cafe Gallery
Is it just me, or has everyone else around the office been transfixed by the lovely paintings hanging on the café walls? Well, they are not on loan from an art museum, but are watercolors from Ann Neely, art buyer and broadcast producer, as part of the new Café Gallery, which will showcase a different talent at HM&P each month. This inaugural showing of Ann’s watercolor paintings are part of her plein air series featuring southern porches and farmhouses. All of the paintings are for sale; however if you are interested you better act fast because they are going quickly.
Ann has been painting all of her life and believes painting is what she was meant to do. Over the years she has received much recognition and has displayed her paintings in shows around the world including South Africa, Ireland, Boston, Atlanta, Seattle, and at many galleries around North Carolina, including Art Source in North Hills. She believes anyone can paint. Ann says the only requirements are patience and a willingness to accept the work. She believes that painting is a process and her work is always evolving depending on what appeals to her at the time. Ann loves every minute of painting and will continue to pursue her lifetime passion for many years to come.
