Aquatic Life, LLC Names Howard, Merrell & Partners as Agency of Record
Howard, Merrell & Partners has been enlisted to develop and implement an integrated campaign that includes traditional and non-traditional media relations and advertising for Aquatic Life, LLC, a California-based provider of premium aquarium products. The two companies previously worked together when Howard, Merrell & Partners designed Aquatic Life’s award-winning Wherever You May Be Campaign, which took home a Silver ADDY from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) in the 2009 Triangle ADDY competition.

1. POLL: Occupy Wall Street waning in popularity
Voters across the country are growing weary with the movement, according to a poll conducted by Public Policy Polling last week. Only 33% of respondents are supportive of the movement’s goals, compared to 45% who oppose them. While OWS loses ground with the public, voters continue to pay enormous attention to the Republican candidates for president, as noted by Crain’s New York Business columnist Greg David on his blog yesterday. The most recent debate among GOP presidential candidates, which took place in South Carolina last Wednesday and aired on CNBC, drew 3.3 million viewers, making it the No. 1 show on cable.
Celebrate Agriculture with Butterball This Holiday Season
The holiday season – or Fresh Season as Butterball refers to it – is undeniably the busiest time of year for our client Butterball. In addition to local celebrations and activities, including the Ozark and Huntsville, Ark. Millionth Bird celebrations and Garner, N.C. elementary schools art contest, the HM&P public relations team worked with Butterball to unveil a new campaign this year – Celebrate Agriculture – which aims to promote awareness of the important role agriculture plays in American life.
