HMP Golf Outing
This past summer, on one particularly hot day, a bunch of us went golfing. Well, some of us went golfing. Others of us just hit balls into the woods and tore up the grass. It was lots of fun and no one got hurt badly. Big thanks to those agency friends who joined us. And to those of you who are in it, sorry it took so long to get this video out.
Turkey Every Day!
Turkey every day!
Everyone knows about making a whole turkey for Thanksgiving or other gatherings. But folks don’t often consider using other turkey products to celebrate every day meals. Well, we decided to check out some different ways turkey could be prepared.
We had a potluck lunch, featuring turkey products from one of our long-standing clients, Butterball. We had turkey chili and Mexican lasagna made with ground turkey; turkey sausage, peppers and onions; turkey meatballs in a sweet chili sauce, Shepard’s pie, turkey stuffing casserole, turkey filet mignons; salads with smoked turkey on top, and lots more. What a great spread!

As always, we enjoyed the chance to socialize with co-workers…and this time, we even talked a little turkey.
Casino Night
We celebrated the holidays and a year of hard work at the company’s annual year-end gathering. It was casino night at the agency – Texas Hold ‘em, Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Slots.
The bar had a lot of activity as did the photo booth (I understand there is one shot of Chris Kroeper kissing my husband Ray), but the dealers were the ones working especially hard last night. Every table stayed active – $15,000-hands were won at the poker table (go Christina Harper and Charlie Lingenfelser); Sarah Findle caused one of the slot machines to run out of coins; Mike Ganey, Ellen Wayland and Nicole Curtis wore out their spots at the Blackjack table; and the craps table was especially entertained by the exuberant personalities (and loud voices) of Karen James and Laura Gross. Meals on Wheels Tuesdays

Now that some of you have joined Chris Gupton and I in delivering meals you can see why it’s such a rewarding community service. The elderly really appreciate it and it’s fun to see the happy looks on their faces when you ring their doorbell. Many of you expressed interest and since we don’t need more than 4 people each time we’ll try to rotate so that everyone that wants to go gets a chance to participate.
Our turn is the second Tuesday of the month. It only takes about an hour. We usually leave around 11:15 or so and we take turns driving. Please let me know if you are interested in helping.
Thanks!
