Jessica Redman Gets Promoted
Media tours, blog posts, new product introductions, tradeshow support, speaking engagements, book promotions, event marketing, bylined articles, Facebook Pages, press kit materials,…Jessica has done it all. She is a strong writer, a media hound, and a meticulous project manager. That is why she has earned herself a promotion to Senior Account Executive.
Straddling two different departments, Jess has her hand in both public relations and social media marketing — which her clients and fellow teammates benefit from every day. We love that we can count on Jess to get the job done, but also to provide some humor along the way.

We hate to see good employees leave the agency, but occasionally they do. Unfortunately, a young professional left us just a few days ago. She sent a goodbye email to the staff that made me smile when I read it. Tee It Up!
The 2nd annual (last one was in 1999) HM&P Golf Outing is set for Saturday, August 7. This exciting Superball or Captain’s Choice format tournament will be played at Reedy Creek Golf Club and Spa. Your $44 entry fee includes golf, cart, and lunch (chicken, barbeque, slaw, hush puppies, and tea). Throw in another $6 for prizes and it’s the best $50 entertainment bargain in Wake County. Checking in with O2 Fitness
O2 Fitness is one of our clients here in the PR department at HM&P and we have had a lot of fun helping them spread the word about their seven (and growing!) locations around the Triangle.
O2 Fitness already runs their own Twitter account, Facebook fan page and blog. A new avenue of social media marketing we have explored with them are location-based applications. One of the new growing trends in social media – location-based applications – allow you to share your location with others by ‘checking in’. More »

Honky Tonk Rock-A-Thon For Haiti
This Saturday at the Pourhouse. Open your hearts and wallets for Angel Mission medical clinic in Haiti. All proceeds will go directly to Angel Mission. 5 bands, one low cover….a chance to do good while having a blast. Hope to see you and your friends there. Doors at 7, bands start promptly at 8.
My dentist Dr. Randall Bennefield and David Burney (whom some of you may know) are in the Johnny Folsom 4, a Johnny Cash tribute band. They play frequently in Raleigh. Check them out and support a good cause!
